Inspired by the shapes of the shoreline and the lines of the boats at Llandanwg on the North Wales coast. I love walking here, taking my time to absorb the peace, to allow nature to restore me.
My enjoyment of slowing down and being quieter is showing up into my work at the moment and this series of four paintings reflects this very much.
I'm employing my love of printmaking techniques, but in a painterly way - onto panel. Not something I've seen or explored before. And I am loving treading this new ground quietly and confidently.
