Tidal Waters III
Inspired by the shapes of the shoreline and the lines of the boats at Llandanwg on the North Wales coast. I love walking here, taking my time to absorb the peace, to allow nature to restore me.
Here, I am quietening the work down to let your eye move slower across the piece and through the landscape. There are layers of paint, applied with a printing process which reveals random shapes and discovered lines - very much like exploring quietly on a beach or rock pools.
Acrylic on board in a limed wax frame (27 x 27 x 3cm) - as shown in the photos.
