Inspired by a favourite part of the North Wales Coast where a tidal river meets the sea. Everything changes and the seascape is constantly interesting to me. Four individual pieces make up Ebb and Flow. Think of it as one painting created from a series of collected snapshots. In the same way that a precious day is captured by a number of memories stitched together - this piece inspired by a walk around a river estuary and onto a beach is a series of glimpses and glances, of different views, making up the whole story. |
With one large piece of art to enjoy, you can also appreciate all the various ways of hanging them in different rooms and over the years ahead. Three in a row, a pair in opposite alcoves, or one on its own in a bedroom or bathroom. The possibilities are endless and infinitely enjoyable.
